I used it once a week for only about 5 minutes until my arms completely became hairless. I still can’t believe… it works!  I don’t have to spend money on razors or shout my lungs out when waxing my legs anymore. I can recommend this product to  anyone struggling with body hair. You absolutely won’t regret it!

A few months ago, one of my cousins, got the laser hair removal treatment done before an event. She told me that the entire sessions went well and that the hair growth reduced completely. After hearing her go on and on about the benefits of the treatment, I decided to buy  this machine at home . Just three weeks ago, I got the laser hair removal treatment for my upper lips. It was over in three sessions and took only a short while. Now, there is virtually no growth of hair on my upper lips. So, if you are feasible hair removal option, which is permanent, and works in the long run. Laser hair removal may be the best option for you. After all it is more like a one-time investment.

Laser hair removal is hands down the best decision I took and it literally changed my life. I used to shave my legs and underarms every week and sometimes wax them because it grows back too fast and I was on the verge of giving up when I heard about laser hair removal.

It is important to shave the area to be treated the day or night before your treatment.Doing this will prevent thermal injury to the surface of the skin as there won't be hair on the surface to absorb the laser's energy. If you were unable to shave your hair or couldn't remove enough, your laser hair removal technician can remove the rest of it before your treatment.
Eyes are required to wear protective eyewear that shields the ocular tissues from laser damage. However wearing laser safety glasses or goggles can protect the eyes from the risks that lasers pose.

It is also useful for us to know that there are certain precautions that we may benefit from knowing about before starting the laser hair removal procedure. These need to be taken before and after laser treatment for hair removal sessions in order for you to achieve the best results.

Precaution 1: Avoid tanning body areas where you want to get the hair removal done

Tanning should be avoided 4-6 weeks prior to the treatment, as this can have an impact on the effectiveness of the treatment. This means avoiding self-tanning creams and sprays as well.

Precaution 2: Avoid plucking, bleaching or waxing 3 weeks prior to the treatment

Preserving the root and the pigment of the hair is important for the success of the laser hair treatment. If you do so pluck, bleach or wax the hair prior to a treatment, you risk the hair not entering into the re-growth phase. If this happens, there would be nothing for the laser to aim for.

Precaution 3: Make sure to shave the area where you want the hair removal done a day or night before the treatment

Shaving prior to your treatment will prevent thermal injury to the surface of the skin. This will enable the laser to go directly to the hair follicle providing robust results at the end of your treatment sessions.

Precaution 4: Wash the area being treated completely and remove any kind of oil present on the skin

Most dermatologists will advise you to ensure you clean your skin thoroughly before treatment, ensuring that your skin is not oily before your treatment session, in order to achieve the best results.

1. Area must be shaved 24 hours prior to your appointment.

- The closer the shave the better. If it is your first time, leave a small patch of hair so that your specialist can exam it. (Your Laser Artist will shave it down before beginning the treatment!)

Post Care

1. Redness & Bumps are normal.

Immediately after your treatment, redness & bumps at the treatment area are common; these may last up to 2 hours or longer. It is normal for the treated area to feel like a sunburn for a few hours. You should use a cold compress if the sensitivity continues. If there is any crusting, apply an antibiotic cream. Darker pigmented skin may have more discomfort than lighter skin & may persist longer.

2. Cleanse the area treated gently.

The treated area may be washed gently with a mild soap. Skin should be patted dry & not rubbed during the first 48 hours.

4. Dead hairs will begin to shed 5-30 days after your treatment.

Stubble, representing dead hair being shed from the hair follicle, will appear within 5-30 days from the treatment date. that is normal & they will fall out quickly.

5. Avoid the sun.

Avoid sun exposure to reduce the chance of dark or light spots for 2 months. Use sunscreen (spf 25 or higher) at all times throughout the treatment period & for 1-2 months following.

6. Do not pick/scratch/wax/thread/tweeze the area.

Avoid picking or scratching the treated skin. do not use any other hair removal methods or products, other than shaving, on the treated area during the course of your laser treatments, as it will prevent you from achieving the best results.

7. Hair growth varies.

On average, most will experience a level of hairless happiness after 6-9 sessions which will result in not even checking for stubble (yes, it’s life changing!).

Skin Sensitivity

1.Before using it for the first time or after using it after sunscreen, please do the skin sensitivity test on each treatment site, which is a necessary step.

2. Select the low gear 1 or2: follow the above methods of operation and pay attention to the contraindications; select the skin area to operate.

3. Check the skin reaction after 30 minutes.

4. If the test site is normal, you can continue to use it. If the skin is red and swollen, please test it again after 24 hours.
